About Us

I have always loved the trucks and the trucking industry. At a young age I liked trucks because they were really big. As I grew older, I still liked them because they were big, and because they were powerful. Well, anything that blows black smoke is enough to make me happy!

I am an ASE Certified Diesel Tech.  I currently work as a Mechanical Technical Support Specialist for Cummins R&D. I get the privilege of working with experimental engines that the world has never seen. Pre-alpha engines set for production years from now are very interesting indeed, especially when you consider that some of them will never go into production, and those that do will look nothing like they do in pre-alpha stage. The hardest part of the job is confidentiality, as nothing I see or do I can tell the outside world. That is especially hard when I work heavily with the Dodge B series. ISB fans can get nosey!

I have a strong fondness for Cummins and have for a long while. Before I was at the R&D facility, I worked for Cummins Crosspoint (old Mid-States), the certified Cummins repair facility. That isn't to say I am strictly Cummins, as I drive an International everyday, like anything Cat, and I have grand respect for the old 2 stroke Detroit.

I made this website years ago as I became fascinated in off-road and extremely heavy loads, such as a 16 wheel drive, tridem in the back with a pusher and a tag and two drive steering axles. It is hard to beat the awesomeness of that sight. Bigger is always better as far as I am concerned, but I will take anything diesel and anything truck. Any truck from a VW Rabbit to a 379 Pete has a place in my heart.

May this website bring you great joy and maybe even be useful to you. I have a lot of hours in hand writing all of these specs. I hope they do someone some good.
